Hey i am going to get some cames and soon enough i am going to install my turbo but i want to know what kind of cams should i get for my gsr. I was thinking of CTR and ITR cams. OR is it better to get some after market things like crower. Also is the regular gsr cams fine or can i get better gains with the ctr and.or itr cams???

 

just keep your stock ones

 

Stock GsR cams should be fine for the street (with turbo). Do NOT use CTR cams as the duration is too long on the intake. ITR is OK and usually cheaper. If you want an aftermarket cam which some swear by, call Web Cams. I think they are the only company that has done any real research on turbo Honda Cams...Someone tell me if they know of any other company. Crower does not make a turbo cam as of yet.
Tighten the lobe centers a couple of degrees with your adjustable cam gears to take out a little overlap and your in business.

 

stock cams seem to work best. (ie gsr) I have seen 500-600hp gsr engines that run stock cams.

No way, skunk2 cams are made for all-motor power and have lots of overlap.
