They were kidding. Get the greddy kit. It will put out about 250 give or take, maybe more with some other work, with the best powerband anyone could ask for. My friend is running the greddy on his d15b7 hatch, and it moves. Second best choice would be a custom setup, a t25 would be my first choice, a t3 .48ar my second choice- it may (will) lag more than the t25 or greddy kit, though.
Good luck!

What?!! The Greddy kit giving a D15B 250 hp? I don't think so. That kit comes with an FMU anyway, get some real fuel management and a custom setup, it will cost less and give more power.

Oh, and if you don't build the motor, there is no way you'll get 220 whp on that motor, it has like 90 whp stock. In fact, that motor would take insane money to get that much power. You'd be happy with like 180 running low 14's though right?

Dude, your smoking somthing good. Got extra?
A) I didn't say 150, I said 250. Read it again. 250. Yes, the turbo is capable of 250.
B) The greddy kit does not come with an FMU. It comes with a blue box. The blue box is fine at low boost, but is as crappy as an fmu at high boost; but thanks for enligtening us, I almost forgot that people can't run 25+ psi on it!
Oh yeah, and GOOD LUCK to the kid who started the thread!

Re: (Johnyquest)
I edited the 150, I meant 250. So you're telling me the Greddy kit will give this kid 160 hp?!?! Just from the turbo? What are you smoking dude? The Greddy kit only claims like 40%, that is 40 hp, not 160, 40.

Ummm. I think your getting the d15b confused with the USDM d15b7. (vx motor) The d15b is a jdm civic vti motor. Its a 1.5 liter version of a z6. It produces 130hp in stock form and has a stock cam comparible with a zex 53900 cam. 250 whp could be achieved on a greddy kit, BUT not without another form of engine management and alot more boost. I personally plan on running a precision SC50 with a .63 a/r on my d15b
