Ok, i just got my 60 trim t3 like two weeks ago and its been sitting, when i first got it it didnt scrape the sides, i clocked the compressor, then it started scraping the sides of the inlet. I clocked it again and tightened all of the bolts and it went away. Last night i got bored and clocked it again, trying to vizualize the best placement and now it scrapes. Should i just try clocking it again and see if it goes away like it did last time? or can i just buy new bearings and rebuild it?

 

loosen the bolts - tap/twist it into place - tighten evenly in an X pattern. should be fine. Is this a used factory turbo?

 

yep, off of an svo. i'll tighten them and see what happens

i just snugged em' with a ratchet. it seems to be gone. i'll probably loosen the bolts a little tomorrow just to be safe.

 

Make sure there is no in/out shaft play also.
