I noticed a few weeks ago that the metal support peice from the half shaft that bolts onto the block came loose so bascially that piece was just swinging back and forth while i drove the car. I placed three bolts in the holes and bolted it up but I noticed for some reason I could not get the bolts to fit snugly in place so I tightend it as much as I could. After a week of driving i noticed two of the bolts had come undone and today the last bolt came off!!
How can i get the bolts to go back in? obviously the threads are stripped or something otherwise it wouldn't be so easy for the bolts to come out. Any suggestions?

Go up to next available size bolt or you could helicoil it back to stock... All a helicoil is, is a thin steel insert... It is actually stronger than the stock aluminum block... That's what i would do in your case... You'll either have to pull the axle/intermediate shaft or flip the mounting bracket down so that you can retap and either go with a new oversized bolt or a helicoil insert.. Thanks for the help dude.. I'll try that helicoil thing but wouldnt it work if i just use a larger bolt? maybe not.. i dunno.. i'm startin to hate my car

Sounds like the threads are stripped from cross threading the bolts or something. You might be able to rethread the holes or use the helicoil inserts if not.

I'm pretty positive that I stripped the threads.. is that helicoil supposed to work definitely?? what are my other options?

Use the Helicoil.....when I got my swap one of those exact bolts was stripped...so I headed over to NAPA auto parts and picked up the Helicoli kit...worked great!!...just be patient and vaery careful when u are installing it...good luck

Either a helicoil or just rethreading it a bigger size will both be fine. If you rethread it a bigger size, you should drill it out smooth first, and cut brand new threads. Be carefull
