Weird over heating problem.... HELP!
450 dsm injectors, its weird, i was just driving down the road and all the sudden it just bogged out and died, popped the hood and it was smoking from the back of the motor, couldnt really see from. Got it started back up drove it about another mile then it died again. Luckily i was only about another mile away from my house so the next attempt got me home. Everything under the hood looks fine.Im clueless, these boosted hondas give me nothing but trouble and im sick of them, once i get this **** running either the whole car is forsale, or im parting it out and just gonna throw a b16a in there and get on with my life.
it also just started throwing codes 14 and 17, veichle speed sensor and IACV. wonder what else is gonna ******* go wrong.

well its actually running fine now and not throwing any codes, but its still overheating, i think its time for a leak down test. now if i get a leakdown test and teh numbers are good, is it poissble that its still the headgasket? this thing has me so confused, ive changed everything except the headgasket at this point.
im also using a d16y8 headgasket on a d16a6 block, could it be possible that thats why im having problems? ive read that teh coolant passages are smaller on the y8 hg

It's time for leak test. If the result of the leak test is good, then remove the turbo kit and put back oem part. Test drive to see if it's still over heat. If it's still over heat, you might consider aftermarket radiator. Some turbo car run aftermarket radiator because oem radiator over heat.
