just get a hondata and be done with it.
i could buy hondata but i couldnt afford the injectors, intank fuel pump or dyno time to go with it..

You could purchase one of those 2" Rubber Pipe connectors from home depot for only $5, here's a pic from TOO's website: it fits snugly on the pump

I found that rubber connector wasn't thick enough to quiet it down much, but at Orchard Hardware I found some 1/4" thick neoprene rubber sheet which I cut to wrap and zip-tie around the fuel pump and with that on I couldn't even hear the thing.

I have a 92 GSR and I mounted mine under the plastic shield right next to the gas tank. I can barely tell that it is there and plus it is hidden and protected.

I found it quiet inside the engine compartment....but im not sure moving it was one of your options. I also think that if you dynomat underneath the rear seats it might muffle the sound a bit. I wouldnt wrap the pump with anything though....The pump prob needs to cool.

Can somebody answer why it needs to be cooled?

Correct me if I am wrong, but SO3Burner talks about mounting the pump in the engine compartment. Isn't this bad? Electric fuel pumps push better than pull, so aren't you asking for problems mounting it in the enging compartment?

I'd think that the FUEL running through the pump would cool it MUCH more than the air blowing past it...

Just a thought.

I kept my intank fuel pump hooked up and bought an MSD activation switch so my inline fuel pump comes on only after 3,000 RPMs. Of course you can buy a pill to make it come on whenever you want it to. I picked 3,000 RPMs because you can't here the pump at that point.
