Sure, definatly works. A wet intercooler is gonna be much colder. (ever put on a wet shirt in the summertime?)
How well? thats another story. I'm gonna try it out one of these days, soon as i get around to going to home depot for a sprayer...

there's an article on it with dyno results...probably still on front page, reload it a couple times...otherwise search for intercooler freezing or something...they did it with water or alcohol and liquid nitrogen.

I dont know how eefective it might be for everyday street driving....a wet intercooler picking up street dust, grime, and other stuff...covering the intercooler will definitely mess up its ability to have air go through the fins...just a thought.
