Default Water cooled lines setup

Hoping someone here can help me out, possibly with photos too.

I'm really confused where to plumb the water lines for my turbo..
where do people tend to take these from?!

the email I had when I asked the guys who provided my turbo kit where the lines were intended to be taken from said..

'The water lines are our standard lengths to go to the upper water neck and rear water pipe'

I asked him to clarify and got..

'Upper water neck is the aluminum outlet where the upper radeiator hose exxits the head. The rear water pipe is the pipe the connects the water pump to the thermo housing across the back of the block.

It's still not that clear to me where he intends to take it from
These are the fittings I have....

Can anyone explain it better/show me on a picture what he means?
or explain somewhere else thats a good place to take them from? and what their setups look like?!

Thankyou

The weld bung that's in the kit is what goes to the water neck as described. The other end goes to the water pipe.

What many do is they use a freeze plug adapter fitting that fits on block and converts to a -6AN. That end goes to the outer part of the water fitting on the turbo. The other side typically goes to the bottom of the radiator. If its OEM, then a small adapter fitting on the radiator drain can replace the standard plug. If its an Aluminum aftermarket radiator, a weld bung can be either welded to the bottom of the radiator, or the same adapter drain fitting can be used (depends upon what radiator your using.. its best to know your drain plug fitting size so you can find an appropriate adapter fitting if one isn't provided in your kit.

If the turbocharger you're using has a GT cartridge, the 90 elbows will work, but because of the fact that its a shorter cartridge than the others, having a 90* wrench will help you best for fitment and removal. If its a journal bearing Garrett or Turbonetics Cartridge, you have a bit more room to use a standard AN wrench.
