Default Water cooled??? (56k Beware)

I am wondering if my turbo is water cooled. If it is then, does this mean I can only run the turbo with both the oil, and water lines hooked up? What fittings, and hose lengths would I need for the water? I have never seen a water cooled turbo, and have never seen one on a car before. Where do I tap in for the water/coolant? Any help on these questions would be greatly appretiated. Thanks alot.

Here are the pics....

It is not a necessity to run water. Just plug the holes if you are not going to run the water.

take the turbo to your local parts store where they sell the brass fittings, thats what i used,i got one peice to screw in,then antoher to screw onto that ,thats gave the the room for the lines and a barbed fitting to make sure they stayed on,then you can run them to your throttle body off the water line that goes to it,i live in florida so i completly bypassed the throttle body and ran those lines to the turbo.

All the Drag kit turbos I have seen, including mine, have that blue anodized backing. Does it mean anything?

I was sent the wrong one with my Drag kit, so I sent that one back and got this one yesterday. I dont think that the blue plating has anything to do with it. My other one had that too. Thanks for all of your inputs so far, and for your help.

If I where to hook up the water cooling, then where would I get my source of water from?

Anyone know if this is a good coolant supply? Everyone I know just runs the oil lines and plugs the water cooling section. As long as you let it cool off a few minutes before you shut down, there's not really a need for the coolant.

Well people usually pay extra for both oil and water. might aswell use it. It will increase the life of the turbo by to folds<-------- "Maximum Boost"

I guess i'm the only person who thinks it does mean something.

My turbo is water cooled, but i've never used it.

If Im not mistaken those backplates are only available for the T04B series compressors. I dont think they make them for the T04E's.
I think it was Dustin that said "Its just eyecandy".
