Gonna mod my hf manifold to run an external wastegate with my 14b. what mm wastegate should i run?

 

how much power are you looking to make,

normaly 38mm is fine..

 

probably less than 300

 

38mm should be perfect.

if you want you can get 44mm and have alot of room for upgrade.

also depending on your mainfold design and where the wastegate is placed the bigger gate could help with boost creep.

i would say most people run a 38mm though. im running that on a hopefully so to be 350-400whp..

 

placment is more important, so make sure it you put it on the collector or near it.
