I know the spring in the wastegate releases at the set pressure but if you have a boost controller set at 12 psi and psi spring in the waste gate for say 15 -20 will the wastegate open at 12?? ive looked through some threads and i believe that it will work like that but i just wanted to make sure

Well if you have an ebc wont it realease where that is set too? like a 15 spring but the ebc is set at 10, so will it realease at 10 or 15?

 

no the it cant control under what the wastegate is

 

The EBC can only increase boost above what the spring is rated at.
