i just shoved it in there, rubber mallet. and tightened it down and its good. just started up the car today. had a problem with my Golden eagle adapter, wasn't tightened all the way and some leakage. but its working now. tuning tomorrow. hope all goes well. thanks for the help guys.

dont use the gasket that comes with the wastegate
it iwll just blow out in a hour or so


use the metal ring and tighten the wastegate to the manifold and you be set

If I could butt in for a minute, this might halp you later......I just got through trying to figure out the same thing. It seems there will be a gap between the manifold and the wastegate because of the ring.

Heres my concern (lucky you if you dont have to deal with this one)

It looks like I'm going to have to move the wastegate off of the manifold. Is it going to make any difference if the wastegate is not connectly directly to the manifold? I've seen other people with wategate pipes and wasnt sure how that would effect the flow of the exhaust gas through the manifold; kinda like running over a big pothole.

any opinions? obviously it would be better if it was connected to it but is it a big deal if it isnt?
