is the a way to change the boost threw the wastegate up to 8psi.

 

yeah put a 8 psi spring in it - when the boost level gets to 8 psi the spring/valve will bleed it off

 

i dont what kind of spring it has in it i bought the gate of this guy. all i know its the delta gate mark2

 

if you take it apart and pull the spring out the spring should have some color painted on it - find out what color it is and call turbonetics and they will tell you what spring psi is in there

i never really delt with the delta gates, but i thought they were somewhat adjustable?

 

Yes they are adjustable on the top. I was running 7 then I just a 9/16 wrench and allen head to adjust. I was turning it done without knowing. I was running 5lbs. It didnt pull as much as 7 but was better than no boost

 

so pushing it down lowers the psi. becuz i dont know what the guy before was running. i know speedcraft blew the motor while dyno ing it..
