Default Wastegate flexable pipe...where to find

I looked at summit and jcwhitney for some 1-1/2" flexable pipe to connect my wastegate dump pipe to an inlet pipe welded to my downpipe. I have seen it before and now i cant find it. Does anyone have a part number because i am about to order all the piping for my exhaust i am going to build. I did a search as well and couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance.

Any auto parts has them. They are fairly cheap too (about $8 fo 18" piece).

I got mine from them, but the smallest available is 1 3/4". AFAIK, no one makes stainless braided flex sections smaller than that.

As a temporary fix to divert the hot exhaust fumes away from my charge piping and oil drain, I went to Pep Boys to look for the flex tubing without the wire braid, but couldn't find it in the exhaust section. Do they have it behind the counter or something?

I got mine from JCwhitney. Look under exhaust tubing and you'll find it. It's a 1.5" Flex pipe and I got like 5 feet of it. PM me if you need the exact web address

just called my buddy, he said a place called TOP LINE EXHAUST in tampa florida, where i am from sells it but it is mad expensive, and he thinks they only do wholesale but you are more than welcome to call them.

its basically a convoluted flexible metal hose with the braided steel around it just like a flex pipe, he uses it on his 44mm gate on his turbo mustang

I am not talking about that kind of flex pipe. I am talking about the 1.5" by about 16"ish long piece of flex hose. (it looks alot like spiral core flexable electrical conduit)

i PMed you that addresss....hahahaha. BTW you can't weld that to anything. WE tried and tried, but it just melted. Idon't know how to weld so maybe I shouldn't be talking, but we just clamped it to a pipe off the wategate and works flawlessly

Anyone else tried to weld that piping? I was thinking about ordering some, but I'd prefer to weld it if I can.

I have welded some before, just low heat and decent feed and stay mostly on the pipe and it seems to work, but yeah, I will just clamp it to the existing downpipe for the WG and then to an inlet pipe on the turbo downpipe...thanks all. My work PC has a pop-up blocker so I miss all my damn PMs, but I check them manually every few days...
