Default Wastegate actuator question....

On internal wastegate actuators, are there springs like on external? I have a 10psi WG actuator on mine currently, but I need to lower the boost....

Yes, but there is no way to get to the spring.

Is there any way to test a WG actuator??? I don't know if mine is even opening. It's either not opening, or it is set @10psi. I don't want to boost over 8 psi, so I really can't tell if it is opening or not. I just bought a 7psi actuator (haven't received it yet) but I'd like to know if this one is working before I install a new one.

Just apply 7psi of regulated compressed air to the port and see if the actuator is open.
