i've done a search there used to be a "how to" somewhere on how to change the in tank fuel pump on a 99-00 honda civic but cant find it, i boosted my car but this is a MUST before i get it tuned, i think i can get to it from under my rear seat i coud be wrong, if anyone knows where a how to is or could give some instructions that would be great thanks

 

It's pretty straightforward. Yes, you access it from under the rear seat. Open your gas cap to relieve pressure and disconnect your negative battery terminal as a precaution. Obviously, you don't want to be smoking or doing anything that could create a spark while working in this area. There's 2 fuel lines and an electrical plug connected to the top plate of the pump. Once those are disconnected, you can remove the 10mm nuts holding it to the fuel tank and remove the fuel pump assembly. By now it should be pretty easy to see how things are held in place and swap in the new pump.
