Walbro 400lph Pumps and Full Blown Hanger
Got my 400lph pumps on the Full Blown hanger and they barely fit, maybe like a 2mm gap in between them. The only problem I have now is the socks for the 400lph pumps won't work, it's a square shape where as the 255lph sock is rectangular. They will overlap each other. The good thing is, it looks like the 255lph sock is going to fit on the 400lph pumps.
255's and 400's
Size difference in packages
255 and 400 side by side
Install kits side by side
On the FB hanger
Gap in between pumps
400lph sock on left, 255 sock on right

400lph sock on left, 255 sock on right

You didn't waste money. You should jsut be able to overlap them some or use the 255's. If not, there is always a way...Just keep looking.

Good news everyone, the 255lph sock fits the 400lph pump. I don't have to worry about overlapping now. Only problem now is us consumers have to buy both install kits in order to make the pumps work with a Full Blown hanger. But to be honest, to make big power, why cry over $10 per install kit? If you can't spend the money, this hobby isn't for you!

what about using 1 400 and 1 bosch 044? or is the dual walbro 400 better off? and why? im curious as to which would be more effective. im in the market for my fuel set up on my turbo car at the moment and have been comparing a few set-ups...

Parallel pumps work better than pumps inline.

You can run dual 255s, dual 340s and apparently dual 400s on the FB pump hanger and feed/return lines sizes from -6 to -10AN....so theres plenty of room to pick the best combination that suits you. (the 340 and 255 pujmps are almost identical with the 340 being slightly shorter). We keep both long and short fuel "socks" on hand for the setups.

im def. tuning in for the results on this set up. my car will be on E85 and ID2000's its somewhat of a street car being that ill be driving it around on ocasions. but mostly will be for racing... i almost went for the 400 intake with a 044 inline, but i had this in mind. however did not know if they would fit. my motor is a gsr bottom with ls crank and b16 head. stock sleeve build looking for 550-600...

Re: Walbro 400lph Pumps and Full Blown Hanger
Sorry all but it seems as though the 400's won't fit. It is true that the baffle inside the fuel tank prevents two 400 pumps to fit. I've decided to run my 255's for the meantime and have already thrown them in. Don't count out the possibility of using the 400's though. We might be able to get a hand in the tank and bend the baffle to get the 400's to fit. I have a spare tank and with the given time and money, I will try to get them to fit.

why would you use a 5 gallon fuel cell kit unless your car is something that is strictly track driven and you dont have to worry about running out of fuel.
I think one of the best reasons for even going dual 400lph pump is because lots of us like to use E85. At the rate of fuel consumption of E85 and high horsepower, switching to a 5 gallon fuel cell for a car thats driven daily seems plain retarded.
