Default Walbro 255 Pump-25 psi

Didnt know if any one else had this problem or if its common. I searched but didnt find nothing. Even with the return line pinched off fuel pressure doent increase so its not the regulator. I didnt pinch any of the lines and wiring is soldered correctly. Fuel pressure is only at 25 psi. and with 1000cc injectors it is flooding the engine even after only cranking it for 5 seconds. Pump sounds very strong and is priming properly. Thanks

Filter only has less than 1000 miles on it and the car ran great before the walbro install,so it cant be the filter. Cloggged intake?

clogged intake to the pump, I mean, where it picks up the fuel. RC engineereing has a fuel pump service that you might want to check out

what fuel pressure gauge are you running. I seen the gauges go bad and get stuck and not move, with any type of fuel pressure increase. So check your gauge, with a working one. Good luck.

Ditto on the gauge question, I've seen more than one worthless gauge.

did you just install the injectors it almost sounds to me like the injectors are stuck open that would also make it flood out real quick

low pressure even with injector clips unplugged. Guage seems to be working properly goes upto @25-26psi when priming then lowers to @21-22. I used the proper install kit also. I also dont think its the guage because the engine is getting flooded with fuel.

well i unplugged the injector clips and checked fuel pressure after it primed. I did this just to eliminate the fact theat the injectors could be releasing some of the pressure. Its the same pressure with them connected and disconnected. When i try to start it they were connected.

change the gauge to a good one. I bet you your gauge is broke.
