vtec won't engage on ls/vtec
Hi, I have a turbo crx and was using a b18c1 engine!!
I sold the short block and I'ved put an B18A1 block now! (got a good deal on the gsr block) I didn't had the ls/vtec conversion at that time and I bought the fitting from the block and the head. I used a oil line, but it's not as thick as a 6AN!! I went to the track and the car ran fine (11.02). The car is not daily driven!! After a few weeks I installed the oil pressure gauge and went to the track and the vtec didn't engage since then!! What could cause this?? I have checked the oil level, vtec solenoid and everything else. Could the oil line be too narrow!! I took the vtec solenoid off and started the and there was lots of oil coming out of the small hole at the head!! Any help!!

Well, actually the oil feed line to the turbo, oil line to vtec and the oil pressure gauge are in one fitting behind the block!! Is there maybe other place where I can hook up the oil feed line to the turbo??
