vtec stays on?
i have a 95 gsr with a jdm front and a stock gsr motor with a turbo kit. for some reason my vtec stays on after its been engaged. so it stays on all the time. so it will make the car bog out. what could it be? i need your help...
Stock ECU?
If you are running a CROME map w/ no vtec pressure signal, it will do as you describe. Not mechanically, but it will stay on the high cam map until you cycle the ignition.
Have you verified w/ a test light on the solenoid?

Contact your tuner as he should have already noticed this as being an issue while tuning the car & or should have known it was an issue with crome.
As described above, disabiling the vtec oil pressure switch causes the issue you are having on crome pro.

I'd have to say it's the jdm front that's the source of your issues. It's annoyed that the rest of the car isn't jdm too...Ironically, I had the same problem. cross breeding ftl
Sorry, I couldn't resist
