To Vtec or Not to Vtec
I have a full b18a and a b16 head. I was thinking about selling the head for extra cash because I want to have the block sleeved so that I can push 20-25psi in my newest honda project. I am going to be ordering one of the full race stage 2 turbo kits. I'm using JE 9:1 pistons and GE Rods. full race says the kit is good for 540hp but i'm pretty sure those numbers are with vtec. What can be expected from a non-vtec application?

If you need the $300 bucks from the sale of the B16 head to keep the project going then its going to be a hard road to 500hp.Over 400 hp with a LS head starts to become a lot of work and money.

I'm not really sure yet. ... I was thinking T3/T04E Turbo or GT28RS for turbo. and no I dont really need the $300 for the sleeves but its a start. Not to metion that i'm not even planning on having it done til next spring. I also am selling my EF and getting a nice 93 Hatch. Wasn't comfortable putting alot of power in my rust bucket. I need want the hatch to beat a 2005 GTO? Thats the real goal. Some 20yr old kid got one from his grandparents and he thinks hes real tough.
