I just noticed that I can't hear my vtec kicking in after my turbo was installed. Is this normal?

Hmm.. NOT really. every turbo kit i installed with boost the VTEC kicked pretty hard. you can feel boost around 3500 and extra pull around 4800 rpm. what motor and set up which cams.?? and do you have any check engine light. I seen no vtec due to lack of oil pressure too.

 

its on my signature. jdm b16 with the old revhard stage 2. stock cams. yeah, i dont hear the vtec.

 

it doesnt matter if you hear it or not.....it only matters if you can feel it. if its not kicking in and its only been since your turbo was install you should check your wiring and VTEC solenoid

 

yup good call......... check you wiring, maybe you poped something off on install and forgot about it, but if you feel it, who cares.........
