Default Vortech problems!

My friend has a Vortech supercharger on his 99 SI, and the Boost is not kicking in, when the Boost is supposed to it just drops of, like the Vortech is not even there, any suggestions on what the problem might be?

The Vortech is a centrifugal blower, it doesn't "kick in"... the power should increase linearly at RPM increases. There's no sudden rush of power or what have you.

I think its a psychological problem your having. Whats the Boost gauge say?
