I saw one post fly by today stating that the Vortech supercharger is always audible as a whine / whistle. How loud is it? Too loud to lower the windows? Would I have to get new speakers to drown it out?

Okay, those are useful for a reading on maximum volume. How about just cruising along? Is the dentist drill sound something that you have to deal with constantly at any rpms?

standard windows media player worked just fine for me.

 

i think its not noticible while driving around town.

in the got boost forum, there are a few guys with that supercharger. you can get a lot of info from them

the car in the videos is heavily modded as well. i think he can rev to like 9800 rpm
