Default Vortech FMU
Which fitting on the bottom of the FMU is fuel feed, and which is return? There's one fitting in the middle of the FMU, and one offset to the side.

side is inlet. top is vacuum hose.

when in doubt, take it apart and see how it works.

I'm not talking about that. I know that the top is a vacum hookup, but on the bottom there is 2 fittings. One should be fuel feed, and the other a return right? Which is which?

The side is the inlet and the bottom is the return.
