Yes they work for D series engne. They'be been used in the US for around 2 years now (introduced by me).

Here in PR they've been used for longer 4+ yrs.
I suggest you do a search on Vitara pistons..look in my sig too on my build.. There is a lot of info around and its too much to type again..

Any specific question you can also contact me.

These pistons have already produced over 400whp on d16 engines and so far the fastest setup woth them is JFK78 (417whp)with a 11.3 @ 130mph on Street tires.

your tune will determine a lot of that...what size turbo do you plan to run?

Each set-up and tune is different. However 400+whp has been attained on vitara's with stock sleeves.

both 400+ whp setups use T3/4e 57 trims...60/.63..both 400=whp have STOCK sleeves and Both setups runs betwen 25-29PSI of boost

Id say you need 750cc injectors and switch to a better engine management than the SAFC..such as Uberdata or Chrome which are free... thats if you want more than 300whp..the 450cc injectors wont help you much if you want to go above 300whp

Yeah I can vouch for it, I did two vitara setups so far... the first one kicked some major *** and made serious power w/ a 57 trim t3/t04e (.48 ar) @ about 22ish psi on pump, 450's and uber. It was a z6 block and it hauled.

I lost that motor to a ******* c clip falling off the wrist pin on one of the vitara's... so ridiculous.

I rebuilt the motor with the same head & a y8 bottom end. All other things the same, but I can't make power for **** this time It made 230hp @ 22 psi... so go figure. Over 100 hp shy of the last setup which as far as I can tell should have been identical. I must have done something wrong.

They are hella fun when they run right, though!
