Default Victor X vs. Skunk2

Anyone have results of the Victor X and Skunk2 manifold?
I dont know which to get. My friend had a skunk and upped to a victor X, he was pushing 1 Bar and said that he didnt feel a difference.

it is my understanding that with the victorx, the higher the revs, the better the gains. best for 9000+ redline turbo motors. not much gains down low. lets see what the others say.

very much so.. skunk2 good midrage not bad top vixtor x so so mid range bad as up top

It's all about the redline. He's not going to see much of a difference compared to the Skunk2 or TypeR unless the motor is pushed past 9000.

It is my understanding that a Type R or Skunk2 mani is really the best for street applications.

If you run the .63a/r housing, then go with the skunk2.

If you run the .82a/r housing, then go with the victor x.

skunk2 is better on the low and mid range.

Victor x is suppose to be much better on the top, very top of the rpm band.

It's been my experience is that skunk2 is good for most people. Victor x is better when you are talking about higher boost levels such as anythign over 14psi. That's just my personal experience with the two products.

J2turbo has one for sale. I think Jegs and Summit carry them as well.
