what would happen if i tryed starting my 5th gen with no o2 sensor would it start and be ok would i just get codes?

 

I think you'll get codes and bad idle (uneven fuel mixture?)

 

I'm wondering the same thing. I don't have a cat right now, so my 02 sensor is just tucked away. If I removed it, what would happen. I'm not getting a weird idle, however I think that my gas mileage is a little low. Any comments?

 

ok tryed it just got codes and ungodley loud exhaust comming out of the o2 hole but other than that it was ok i just had to move it out of my garage
