venom intake? any good

Default venom intake? any good

i have a chance do buy a VENOM MANIFOLD for my b16a... they any good or should i go with edelbrock?

The wall thickness on the sheet metal they use on the Venom manifold is very very thin. Nothing like the original STR sheet metal manifolds. I blew the side plate off of the STR manifold at 48 psi and they use thick wall sheet metal. I would not recommend on a very high boost car. IF you are paying $250...you might as well pay a little more and get the Edelbrock.

I believe they had something to do with it but the Venom manifold is a different story as far as quality.

For 250, I would buy it. I have a really old turbo mag and it feature a str intake mani.
Kurt gordon made +25whp,
Leevon eisele +22.7whp,
frankie romero +39.1whp. all had the STR. To me STR AND VENOM are pretty much the same. They all at that time was only pushing 400+whp.

RHDZINE- 48psi, whoa I'm surprise anything held up.

i picked up a venom IM for my gsr today for 160.... i think i got a good deal, im gonna be running about 25-30 lbs looking to hit close to 500
