Default Velocity stack w/ mesh screen or Cone filter?

does a velocity stack make any kind of difference with a turbo, or would i be better off just putting on a regular cone filter?

This has been covered a couple times in seperate places. The screens disrupt flow and let alot of debris in. Quality filters with built in velocity stacks actually straighten airflow, while filtering the air. I've never run a screen personally, always K&N's.

Someone had dyno sheets of a coarse screen, a fine mesh screen, open turbo, and a K&N and the K&N beat it all.

No, that's RsxingAZ and Ikon. They're located in AZ aka Full-race's headquarter

http://greenfilterusa.com by far the best filter you can use if it fits. Check their website for dimensions. If you cant then run this http://www.xenocron.com/catalo....html

Why not spend $20 on ebay for a filter? You even get a 28ga aluminum CAI and non-reinforced rubber coupler on top of it. The best part about K&N is they make a TON of sizes, barrel as well as cone. Find the size on their site, then use your head to find the right part # on summitracing.com. I've had the same K&N filter since 2004. I dont know much about Green filter, but they seem to have some nice sizes. FYI you don't need that large of a filter for most vehicles. Look at the filters for OEM 400bhp V8's, and they are not only small, but usually paper.

Come on you cant compare an ebay filter with a Green Filter. The green filter will outflow and outlast the ebay filter. The problem with most KN filters and ebay filters is that they break down with time and they arent reinforced with a stainless steel cap. If you are moving enough air with a big enough turbo you can potentially suck the cheaper filter in. This is one of the biggest reasons Full-race stopped giving out KN filters with their kits and now recommends Green filters.
