Default variable intake manifold and boost. Good or bad combo

I have gathered quite a few parts for adding a turbocharger for my car and have a question for you guys.

My car have a variable intake manifold.

Does anyone have any theories on how this manifold would perform in a boosted enviroment?

Uh, a lot of people are running boosted GSR's. I haven't heard any complaints from the secondary runners.

" what the hell is this"

This belongs on a 148 hp 2,0L DOCH engine
made by Mazda for the Eurospec and JDM version of the 1 st gen MX6
(Eurospec = 626 Coupe. JDM = Capella C2)

The intake helps the engine too produse healthy torque curve from low down and still allows it too rew with ease, basically stretching the powerband from 2K too 7K

Dax

Do the GSR use the same type of setup?
I am not too familiar with the more exiting Honda models since basically all Hondas here in Norway are lowpriced grocery getters like 1,4L Civics

The GSR [B18C1] uses a secondary runner almost exactly like shown above. Many kids swap to aftermarket manifolds for their B18C1, which do not have this feature. I think this requires disabling a sensor in the ECU to prevent a CEL condition.

I know of people using aftermarket manifolds, using the stock manifold with the secondaries disabled, and using the stock manifold with the secondaries. I think it's just a personal preference. Personally, I think if you're boosting, you're stuffing air in and the secondaries are not hurting or helping that much.
