Valve spring options h22
Hi guys. I'm looking to find out wether Brian crower dual valve springs are any good on h22's. All my search results have ended in either b series applications or people putting out a build sheet. I'm looking for info from actual users of said springs. Any feedback is appreciated. These will find themselves matted to ferrea oversized valves. 1.0 intake. 0.5 exhaust inconel's. The goal is 550tq 600hp and a solid head will definitely help. Block is a darton sleeved f23a with 89mm cp pistons. Can't go further without the springs and it's a tossup between supertechs and Brian crowers which are about the same price.

I never even thought about the keepers. Thank you for the input. Supertechs were always my first choice, but curiosity killed the cat.
Thanks again

Why do you think Supertech valves suck? All brands have high and low end models. Hell I have a set of new Ferrea 5000 valves on my shelf that are useless. They are not backcut and heavy as ****.
I thought OEM keepers were crappy stamped steel tho.

I always knew oem keepers as being the best option. But I mean if it's a needed upgrade. What's another 100-200$ really? This is an interesting discussion tho

Ive seen enough supertech valves break to know they suck. I have money that say the fereeas probably BENT right? Right. And if they did, there was an underlying problem right? Right. Ive seen enough motors ruined with Supertechs that I wouldnt want any part of them in my motor. Period. These are motors that belong to people I know, and as I had looked on the almighty interwebz... They are FAR from isolated incidents. And not any low end models in the motors which I speak. I assure you sir.
YMMV
OP as for the needed upgrades... Theyre NOT. OEM keepers are fine. I beat the **** out of my motor at 9K flailing off the limiter flat foot shifting it in a manner that would make the honeybadger hard.
I dont know why peiple ask questions when they already have the answers in their heads LOL. THe Aftermarket keepers are in no way needed You just typed that you KNEW the OEMS were the best option... If that is so, why is the next sentence even written after it ;O)
Have a great weekend :O)

Lol honeybadger wood is definitely a extremely entertaining concept. I'm just glad u guys are out here with the street experience on most of these parts in order to debate the pros and cons. I'm always open to ideas that could save my baby from catastrophic failure, so I'm just appreciative of info when the research on the net is just not enough.
