at about what mileage should the valves be adjusted? 50 some thousand? does it matter from usdm to jdm on gsr motor?

just check them first. what pistons and valves are you using ? stock ?

 

yea the stock jdm b18c pistons and valves. the valves seem like they are ticking louder than they use too

 

get some feeler gauges and check the tolerance
