Default vacuum manifold port problem

Hey i just got my Golden Eagle vacuum manifold in the mail yesterday. I noticed that the ports that are on the manifold arent drilled completely through. They are drilled far enough to have the threads on there but they stop there and dont connect to the main hole. Do i have to drill out however many ports i actually want to use? Is this a mistake, or is this so you only use what you need that way you dont have to plug the ports you arent using?

Did anyone else who bought one have to do any drilling?

Thanks

Yeah that's normal...it's so you don't have to plug the holes you don't use. Just use a drill and make sure to clear ALL shavings that fall in.

Thanks, I kind of figured thats how it was supposed to be. Just wanted to make sure before I went drilling a new part.
