Default Vacuum help

I am currently using the nipple on the elbow of my 14b turbocharger as the vacuum source for my wastegate. I just read that that can cause the turbo to spool slow, which I am having trouble with. They said its better to tap at the intake manifold for the vacuum. But that will cause me to run more PSI right?

However they also said that tapping a source for the wastegate can cause erratic boost, and that its better to give it its own source, but how will I do that?

Did alittle search, one guy ditched the charcoal canister and used the vacuum source for that. Can I remove that without throwing a CEL?

Edit- looks like I can. Ill give that a shot.

yes you will run just a bit more boost if you take a source after the IC ex. like the intake manifold. since you are taking a presure source after the IC, it will compensate for any pressure drop after the IC.

You can tap straight from the brake booster.

If you are doing this to get quicker spool time i dont think it will make a difference where you tap it. You will get better results running a boost controller. Running boost controller doesnt mean you have to up the boost.
