Is it harmful to try and run the V-AFC hack without a fuel pump? My FMU doesn't seem to be working right anymore and I thought maybe I'll try it out. It's cheaper to get some DSM 440's than to get a new FMU and I already have a V-AFC. I also got a hold of a new in-line fuel pump (mine broke a while ago), would that be a suffiecient alternative? But most likely I won't be running a fuel pump other than stock for a while.

 

I run the stock fuel pump with the hack and it works fine. Although it would probably be safer to upgrade.
