If I am running the V-AFC do I need an FMU?

If you do the 440 or 450 injectors then no, otherwise yes.... you want bigger injectors anyway.

Basically if you get 440's or whatever ditch the FMU and set low and high throttle -30% give or take according to your needs.

If you're running a limited MAP and try to add fuel with the V-AFC, you're going to throw a MAP sensor code if you try to add too much fuel since the V-AFC alters the MAP signal to make the ECU dump more fuel. Without an FMU, you'll need to add A LOT of fuel with the V-AFC under boost. I'm running a 12:1 FMU and using a V-AFC to trim fuel under boost, since the FMU makes it run a bit rich. No problems.

edit:this is assuming you're running stock injectors
