Default V-AFC with Boost q'

Considering prior to building up may B18A if I want to go Boost or not to Boost. I know with the ECU I would have to use check valves to trick the map sensor. Seeing I already have the V-AFC and that runs inline with the map sensor to the ECU will that trick it so it doesn't see boost or still need check valves? Just more useless knowledge I can use in the future really.

So if I understand this the ECU still cann't see positive pressure from the MAP sensor if it does will CEL and Code it. What is this about the 3 bar map sensor. My friend has a Haltech and uses a 3 bar but would this work with honda's. I know you can change the setting for the sensor in/out that wouldn't affect anything either. Still would have to stay below 11PSI or check valves.

if you do not use the hack you will need a missing link or a check valve.
