Default using vafc for boost over gauge.>>

stock map sensor is good for like ~10.65 psi right. im trying to get as close to that as possable. say around 10.5 is fine.

problem is gauge reads like 11psi. vafc reads .65 which = ~9.243psi.

should i stick with what the gauge is saying or go for vafc reading of ~.738 which would be 10.5psi.

if the afc gets that reading from the map. i think i should go with the afc reading, prolly more correct.

any sugestions. ??

platinum.

I would go with the Vafc over the gauge I had the same thing going on in my car the auto meter was saying 11psi and the Vafc was saying .62(8.99psi).

My SAFC reads lower boost than what my omori 1.0 bar gauge reads. I trust the omori more considering it is directly connected to the intake plenum, no electronic bullshit.

i understand that the gauge is prolly more accurate, but what im getting at is. im not going over the map limit untill the vafc reads .75 which would be just over 10.65 . so i can boost untill i hit that without worries of fuel cut off or not be compensated for.

correct.

I have this same problem also. My boost gauge reads 10.5psi and my blitz turbo timer with peak boost reading .72 bar while my SAFC reads .45 bar(6.5psi). I trust my gauges more because my boost gauge is teed off the fpr vac line while my turbo timer is teed off of its own vac source (brake booster).

seems like that safc/vafc reads lower boost for some reason

Are you guys running this on a AFC hack or AFC/FMU setup?

I thought you had to run a missing link with a FMU setup but just wanted to double check.
