Default Using flex piping from Lowes or Home Depot to filter???

The longer I run no filter with just this mesh, the more worried I get about longevity of my motor. I daily drive my car everyday and just worried that too much dirt gets into my motor. Due to space constraints and new fan on my radiator, I have very little room to fit my original piping and filter back on the car.

Do you think I can fit one of those accordian aluminum piping stuff and then attach a filter to it work??

It won't have the best flow because of the accordian interior, but since it is FI, would that even matter??

Anyone even try it before?
