Default Used safc..reliable?

Anything wrong with getting a used safc or vafc? Do these have any reliability issues?

It should be fine. If it works, it works. The only thing that would bother me personally is the nice blue screen. It'll bug me if it's all scratched up.

Just take note that they don't like to be banged around a lot. My 4 puck clutch has killed two of them from the hard shifting so far. They would fall off the mount and hit the floor. Slowly, a sensor or two (in my case, air pressure and TPS) wouldn't register. Then the whole thing died.

wtf sham, wheres your ish mounted? Mines velcro-ed so it ain't goin anywhere no matter what hp you throw at it . Used is A-ok theres no moving parts so chances of it being "broken" are slim, unless someone is REALLY trying to rip you off....

i bought a used vafc and it seemed to work ok, until i hit vtec. i found out that some of the wires were damaged so my vtec wouldnt engage. well we repaired the wires and it works ok now. just make sure that you inspect the unit very carefully before laying down the cash.
