Use block guard or not?
As the topic states, should i use block guard or not? Im getting rebuild for my car with forge piston and rods, the shop is going to throw in STR block guard as well, but i heard many bad things about block guard, i have no money for sleeve and i just want to have 300whp the most out of a b16 with t3/t4b turbo. Should i put it in or not?

Actually if you do a search you will find that improper installation of a blockgaurd can cause the cylinders to go out of round, turning them "egg" shaped. Personally I feel a blockgaurd is just a crutch to stand on because of lack of tuning. I would not bother and sell the blockgaurd to pay for even more tuning time.
