URGENT...Insurance Battle, I need and appraiser in NY area.
Please help a Honda-Tech member in need.
my insurance company is dicking me around. I need an insurance appraiser in the upstate NY area that knows these kinds of cars and that can look at my receipts for parts and come up with a "cash value at time of loss" for my stolen car.
Also need people who can give me notarized copies of bills of sale for similar cars as mine that they sold their cars for with these kinds of mods. Here are the details:
• 1995 Acura Integra in mint condition
• Black with Yellow detailing on runner panels and front lip
• Recently rebuilt engine using JE Pistons, Eagle Rods, ARP Headstuds and all new seals and bearings
• ACT Extreme Pressure Plate and Strip Disk clutch
• All new Brembo brake rotors
• 3” Thermal Research Exhaust
• Fmax Turbocharger Kit
• New Turbocharger -Turbonetics/Garrett T3/T04E
• Gauges left of dash on A Pillar Greddy Electronic Boost, EGT and Oil pressure gauges
• Blitz SBC-id Boost Controller
• Blitz dual Turbo Timer
• J&S Safeguard Ultra 2 and Dual Monitor in glove compartment
• Hondata 4B computer unit

i just got through dealing with my insurance company about my car...
luckily i had receipts for everything, right down to the clear blinkers. and was reimbursed(sp?) very very well...
what company do you have?
was the car stolen outside of your house? because you should definitely contact your home owners insurance....
best of luck, you'd think after all the money you spend on insurance they wouldn't dick you around.
