Default URGENT! Arias Piston Ring End Gap

I'm going to replace my Arias Piston Rings on my H22A1 Prelude Turbo Engine and I would like to know ASAP, what piston ring end gaps I should use for all three rings. I will be doing the rebuild today.

Also, does anyone know the torque specs for the con rod bolts on the SAENZ Con rods? If so please give them also. My engine was originally built by JG.

Please reply ASAP.

look at the sheet that comes with your pistons as far as end gap. it should be a number times the size of your bore to get the end gap..

on rod...I have no idea on saenz...eagle uses 28 lb/ft

I would call arias because when I did my rebuild I used an end gap that someone on the board suggested. To make a long story short, the gap was wrong and I wasted a set of rings and all the time it took me to put those biatches in! Since then I have learned that the manufacturer is who you want to talk to. Or someone that you are sure is very knowledgable.

For street/strip motor, the recommended end gaps are:
Top ring : .005" x inch of bore
Bottom ring : .004" x inch of bore
Oil ring : minium gap of .015"
Depending on how much hp you plan on pushing, you can go a little bigger on the end gap, like .005"-.006" per inch of bore on the top ring and .004"-.0045" on the bottom ring.
