UPDATE: TRACK TIMES
Well I finally made it home from school to run the car with the new power..... i had many runs in the mid 12s around 128mph.... but the best of the day was
All runs were made on pump gas the same numbers as shown before as well as on 15"rotas with Falken Azenis.... also still stuck with the open diff... lemme know what you all think....
R/T .137
60' 2.122
330' 5.717
1/8 8.416
MPH 96.84
1000 10.581
1/4 12.343
MPH 131.32
I had another thread with my numbers and setup but heres what you need to know....
First off my setup:
B18c1 81mm stock sleeves
cp 9.0:1
Crower rods
ARP head studs
stock gsr head with supertech valve springs and retainers and ctr cams
AFI ramhorn manifold and 3" downpipe
Tial 44mm WG
Precision SC6176e
Hondata S300
Precision 1000cc
Walbro 255lph
OEM fuel lines and filter
open diff
thats the basic rundown
Tuned by Josh at Raceline in Cincinnati
The boost is currently at 20lbs running off the wg spring... These are all mustang dyno numbers and all on 93 octane from UDF
The car made 478whp and 310 tq but was richened up a bit for saftey concerns and is making closer to 460whp

I'd bet u were roasting them tires from 1st till the end of 4th.
I ran a very similar time to u as well, but with BFG drag radials.
Great time though, especally the trap speed!
BTW what psi was ur tires at???

Sixty-foot times are not the mitigating factor when you're putting down almost 500whp. If he's trapping 130mph and only running a 12.4, he needs slicks to make the most out of his setup. He can run 12.4's at 130+ or he can run 11.2 at 125 with slicks A 2.1 60' is fantastic for that amount of power on street tires, but when they spin at the top of every gear, you're losing precious ET.

Re: (94whtgsr)
not bad man. For comparison my car made 438 whp 285tw on a Dynojet.
On 215/60/14 BFG drag radials my best pass was
RT-.502
60-2.076
330-5.535
1/8-8.095
MPH-99.93
1000-10.251
1/4-12.037
MPH-127.35
RT-.029
60-2.077
330-5.588
1/8-8.241
MPH-97.38
1000-10.438
1/4-12.248
MPH-125.76
My tire pressure was 10 psi hot. I was running 18psi in every gear for lack of boost control.
The key to running fast on these drag radials is getting them very hot and setting up boost so that you dont spin too badly.
Have you guys messed with the hondata boost control yet? Its supposed to work really well. That will help get your short track times down quite a bit im sure. Then the car should definitely have 11's no problem.
Did the car spin bad in 1st and 2nd?

azenis are a true street tire arent they? My comparisons dont count lol. For some reason I thought he was running a drag radial.

Re: (94whtgsr)
with a better 60' you could have hit 11's
