Update: Swap day 3, major problem...awesome solution
I ran into a major problem with the clutch. I'm running a 91 CRX Si flywheel, but the hole in the pilot bearing is too small to fit over my 88 Integra tranny's mainshaft.
The 86-89 Integra flywheels do not have a pilot bearing. The hole in the flywheel is about .010" larger than the OD of the mainshaft.
I couldn't just use the clutch I have on the Teg's flywheel because the clutch won't fit (surface area is too big).
Just removing the pilot bearing from CRX mainshaft wouldn't work either because there would just be a gaping hole there with no support for the mainshaft.
In steps my buddy machinist. He made me this ultra trick custom pilot bearing. The metal is graphite-impregnated silicon bronze. It does not require external lubrication. He finished it this afternoon and next day air'd it to me. I'll have it at 10 am tomorrow.
I spent most of the day with the car's wiring. I had to make 2 separate harnesses. One harness contains the wiring for the Purge Cut Solenoid, Idle Up Solenoid, Resonator Control Solenoid, and the extra alternator wire (Teg connector had 4, CRX had 3). The second harness contains the wires for the Crank Position Sensor (CYP) and ignitor. I cut apart the ECU wiring from an 87 Integra to get the wires I needed to add to the CRX's ECU harness:
I took the engine wiring harness out of a junkyard 89 Integra a few months back. This turned out to be an excellent move since I could just cut off the needed connectors and splice them into my CRX's engine harness.

I have a stack of Helms manuals. I used them to create a chart that shows the difference in the ECU wiring between the 87 CRX Si and the 89 Integra.

the only thing I have to do is learn cnc machining language...I use the Bridgeports/lathe quite a bit though...
