update on my endyn vs tk race head
update on my drag project with my b16
i had an endyn b16 head that i had bought a while back but never flowed
i recently went to tk race to make some improvements and we came upon interesting facts..
we found out that the endyn head that i paid almost 2000 cad for flowed the flowing numbers on his superflow 600 bench
100" lift........91.8 cfm
200" lift........164.3 cfm
300" lift........220.3 cfm
400" lift........263.5 cfm
500" lift........290 cfm
comparing to a head he had sitting there ready to go for another customer which opened up my eyes
100" lift..........100.7 cfm
200" lift..........168.8 cfm
300" lift..........232.1 cfm
400" lift..........273.4 cfm
500" lift..........290 cfm
another interesting fact is that my endyn head had .5mm bigger intake valves and the tk head was on stock size valves...
so my update for now is that for the same price i could of gotten a better flowing head without having to get bigger valves...
you be the judge...

Re: update on my endyn vs tk race head
What performance mods and driving conditions was the Endyn head ported/built for? Larry often manipulates the flow at different lifts to optomise the performance for various parameters, such as what driving/build the head is for: do I need more mid range torque, more top end, is the head going on a 1.6 litre, 2.0 litre, etc... what lift and duration of cams is it for, is it NA, supercharger, turbo, what turbo, and the list goes on.
Other porters go for outright flow numbers, but when you actually put it into application, it doesn't work any better than the previous head, and may even be worse.

Re: update on my endyn vs tk race head
just because its my first post doesnt mean anything...i read alot on the forum and never posted anything big deal...
second i didnt post this to bash anyone was just showing you guys what i got
head was done for drag racing and turbo application
as u can see the head i posted flows better and every level of lift ...and in theory the more it flows the more power/torque u make at that given lift
anyways those are the numbers..take it if you want don't if you dnt wanna
