i searched up this topic and there was five topics that came up. All were old and not very much info. i am very curious about painting my intercooler and i was wondering what paint have you guys used or had good expierience with? paint, primer, anodize or what? thanks for all your info and thanks in advance for your help!

This is what i used to hide my intercooler.

 

I put on a VERY light coat of flat black spray paint, just enough to darken it and take th shine off, you can't see it at all

 

Search harder next time. Just spray paint it with flat black or whatever you can scrounge up.

i painted my intercooler up so black you would never even know its there... light coat , heavy coat it really does not matter... I showed the exact same Intake Air Temps on hondata before and after i painted it.. wooptie doo.



look closely in the grill area there..

 

I think you got some over-spray on the corner lenses too

 

hah.. spraying the intercooler is a classic sleeper trick i've had mine sprayed for about 2 years now.

did you spray it an aluminum color or silver?
