Default uhh... wtf is wrong?

okay .
i have a greddy 18g kit on my gsr, and my numbers were really shitty. granted, i did have an exhaust leak and 2 of the bolts from the exhaust mani were missing (now fixed), but at 6 psi i was only making 190whp 140 wtq.
setup consists of the 18g, 255 fuel pump, fpr, full exhaust, and that's pretty much it. oh, and idk if it matters, but an engine torque damper as well.
(hondata s200 as a management)

is it me, or is there something wrong with these numbers?

Tuned ? Sure everything is correctly hooked up, no boost leaks ?

well when i got it tuned, there was an exhaust leak and a exhaust mani leak. don't know if that contributed to boost leaking...
it was tuned at speedquest btw.

okay well i'm saving up for a tune @ whip factory. they're the best tuners around my area.

i'm planning to tune at 9 psi. what do you think numbers should be?

i've looked around on cars with similar set ups on here, and i'm estimating around 225-230 whp 180-190 tq.
is that correct?

sounds like another greddy kit... but i would imagine that you should easily top 200... but id say around 220-230 will be max whp @ 9 psi on that setup

The exhaust mani pressure is usually 2-3 times that of the intake mani pressure (on street cars), so thats up to 18psi thats forcing its way out of those leaks. I've seen someone go from 10psi to 2-3psi w/very late spool due to a 1/32"x3/8" leak (blown t3 flange gasket).

Anyways, here's a well-tuned 18g B16 @9psi:

I think there was also a B18B1 with a greddy 18g kit that was ~220whp at 7psi? I can't recall exactly, but I know it wasn't spectacular, and the owner just couldn't take any criticism or advice.

well isn't the b16 lower compression than the b18c1 (mine)

i'm definitely going to save up and spend the 5-6 hundo for a tune at whip factory. they're probably my best bet.

also, like, usually within the first 10-15 minutes, when i go past x throttle %, i dont feel the lag, but the BOV lets off. and maybe like after 20 minutes of driving it the turbo seems to be active, like i feel the lag and everything. is this normal? is it just that the turbo needs to warm up or something?
