Uberdata vs. Bandaids
Right now I'm running a Boost Timing Controller, MAP Controller, and V-AFC.
Would switching to Uberdata be beneficial? I have both my timing and fuel controlled with the current setup, but I figure Uberdata is better after all the talk I hear. I just don't like the idea of giving up my cool electronic toys.

if you run uberdata, the electronic toys become much cooler. WB + laptop + burner = cool as hell

Just as your topic says, What you have now are bandaids. Uberdata is an Engine managment system.

Be careful though, Uberdata isn't as plug and play as you think. Be prepared to tinker and tweak, but once you get it working:

Very true. I have probably 12+ hours in my tune. It gets 30-32 mpg on average though and she goes 12.40's .

mrbsponge thinks Uberdata sucks. No management is the best management.

Yeah, well you gotta figure that with ANY product you aren't going to have 100% satisfaction.
But I guess since you guys swear by Uberdata I will make the switch. If I sell my bandaids and make the OBD-1 swap and buy an AEM WB, the costs will actually level out. Now it's just a matter of horsing around with ebay.
And you all can expect to help me out with the setup.

I already have a laptop, so there is one major cost taken care of. And I have to swap the ECU still because I'm obd-2a.
And actually, now that I think about it, the WB isn't really a cost. I can buy one on ebay for $300, use it as long as I want, then sell it back on ebay for the same price. This is going to be cheaper than I thought.

the only shitty part about neptune is the user cant tune it, only your tuner can. unless you have access to a copy then you need to hook me up. lol

I run Uberdata on my CRX and I love it. It is very satisfying to do your own tuning
But don't just take my word for it check out this link and read up on the Uberdata forums.

Re: (Kowalski)
the only, and i mean only thing i dont like about uber is the lacking of rtp support. buring a chip, logging, cutting off the car, pulling the chip, reburning it, putting it back in and repeating gets old.
